Greetings to all DHS Tennis Parents!!
The Goldfield Tournament is on Friday, February 28th. We are in need of Parents to Volunteer as chaperones at this tournament.
There are 7 different locations hosting this tournament. The coach will need at least one parent per location at all times throughout the day. We hope to have a DHS parent on each premises, to simply lend a hand to the coaches as needs arise. It is important to have this support. Please choose your location and indicate the time-frame you can be available. The times needed are from 8:30am – 5:30pm, (or until they are finished). Below you will find the list of all tournament locations:
- Goldfield Tennis Center
- Denton H. S.
- T.W.U.
- Denton Guyer H.S.
- Krum H. S.
- Lake Dallas H. S.
- Lake Dallas Middle School
Please indicate the time-frame and location you prefer when you email or call me. If you cannot chaperone the whole day, we will appreciate any time slot you can fill. — 2hrs, 4hrs, 6hrs, or all 8-9 hrs! See my contact info at the bottom of this page to reserve your spot!!
Important Volunteer/Chaperone Meeting held the night before—Thursday, February 27th at 5:30pm. There will be a brief but important meeting at the field house the evening before the tournament, which will be to go over volunteer duties, make sure all have assigned locations and to pick up your free tennis t-shirt to identify each of you as a DHS Chaperone on each premises and as a “thank-you” for volunteering!!
